Solar storage & installation.

Warranties vary from product to product across the industry. These days reputable manufacturers are offering at least 12 years on solar panels and 5 year parts & labour plus 5 years parts only on inverters. We would also recommend looking for manufacturers with Australian offices and a good reputation for after sales service. We have a 10 year workmanship warranty included on every solar system we install.

Yes we offer free quotes. We will spend the time and make sure the system is tailored for your needs at no cost. We will also offer any advice to kickstart your solar journey.

We currently do not have any payment plan options in place. In saying that we are always happy to work with you, we understand everyone’s needs are different. If this option best suits you we will offer assistance and explore the options.

Unfortunately, we only offer solutions for Solar power and storage at this stage. We also offer services in electrical and split system air conditioning. We will be looking to add solar hot water to the services in the near future.

Yes we do offer services for maintenance on solar systems. Prices vary for different size systems. Maintenance services include a clean and test of the system. We recommend getting a service every 12 months.

We try our best to prevent any damage during installation but in the rare chance something doesn’t go quiet to plan, we will fix the issue. In our experience the most likely situation for damage to occur is when installing on roof tiles, especially terracotta. Tiles can be quite unpredictable depending on the type and age. We always ask our customers in advance if they could have some spare tiles available on the day of installation. This way we can be sure that when we’re finished the job is done right.

First thing you will need to do is get in contact with an accredited solar installer. Mitch is fully accredited in the design, installation and storage of Solar PV Systems. We will come around to meet with you in person, assess your property and discuss the options available to you. The process can be quite overwhelming for the customer, so we try to explain the process in easy to understand terms and make the  whole experience as stress free as possible.

A well designed solar system can save you up to $100 per kw, per quarter. For example, a 3kw system can save you up to $300 per quarter and a 5kw system can save you up to $500 per quarter. However there are a few factors to take into account that make huge differences to your savings. We will point you in the right direction and assist you with helpful tips to maximise the potential savings of your solar system.

This can be a little bit confusing! To keep the high feed in tariff when adding panels to a system, the total panel power must be equal to or greater than rating of inverter. If your total panel power is already equal to the rating of the inverter, you cannot add to the system. However, if your total panel power is less than the inverter power rating, there may be a solution for you.

This all comes down to what you are requiring or expecting from the system. Best advice here is get your most recent bill and meet with an accredited solar installer. They will consider your needs and design a system that will best suit your particular circumstances. Also remember battery storage will become more affordable over the next couple of years, so making sure your system is generating enough power to store in the future could be a wise decision.

If there’s no sunlight there’s no need to stress, this is completely normal. If however it’s a sunny day and there are no lights and you can’t hear the inverter in operation, either contact your original installer or give us a call at Eco Bay. There may be an issue with system.

Most new systems will be capable of handling a battery but some older systems may need parts upgraded to cater for a battery. There is always a solution and we are here to help you find one.

Air Conditioning

We recommend Mitsubishi Electric. We’ve been using this brand since day one with zero faults or returns. This is a premium brand of aircon, but we do understand it may not be for everyone. If you have another brand in mind, we are happy to work with you and offer honest advice on the product of your choice.

Regardless of age or brand we recommend getting your aircon serviced once a year. If however you work in an office where the aircon is running a lot more than average you may want to look at a service every 6 months. This will ensure the longevity of the unit and ensure the aircon is blowing clean air.

You sure can, we love including you the customer as much as we can. Whether you have already purchased an aircon or you would like us to supply and install one for you, we have you covered. We will give straightforward honest advice to take the guess work out for you and ensure you end up with a product that suits you.

Warranties will vary from product to product. All Mitsubishi electric products, regardless of registration, receive a 5 year parts warranty and a 7 year compressor warranty. Products that are registered online within 90 days of installation receive a 10 year parts and compressor warranty. Warranties will all be stipulated throughout the quoting process to ensure we are all on the same page.

At this stage we currently do not install or service ducted air conditioners. We are still a relatively new business and our aim is to be the one stop shop for all electrical needs. We will be working on gaining the necessary expertise to include this service in our business.

Yes we can! If you require the old aircon removed altogether, need it relocated or just want an old for new replacement, we are qualified to do it all. Whether the aircon needs to be reinstalled or removed and disposed, we will ensure this is done in a safe and legal matter.

Electrical services

Safety switches should be tested every 3 months to ensure correct functioning of the switch. To do this look for the ‘T’ or “Test” button on circuit breakers inside your switchboard. When button is pressed or turned it will trip the breaker and cut off power to the circuit inside your home or business. If this does not happen, please get in contact with Eco Bay or your local electrician to make your house safe again.

Our workmanship warranty for electrical and air-conditioning is 5 years but for solar that warranty is extended to 10 years. Keep in mid workmanship warranty does not cover faulty appliances it simply covers any faults that may occur due to the installation.

Absolutely we can. We have the experience across all of these sectors including residential renovations, residential and commercial new builds. We can assist you with the design process to help bring your dream to light. No job is too big or small, we are always up for the challenge.
